Parkers Mill, Meadow, NC: A little respite from the city...

I had to go down to Meadow,NC, to see a client Friday night. It has been years since I drove past Parkers Mill.

It was irresistable. With the camera in the car, I had to stop and collect a few pixels. The lady fishing below the old bait shop/gas station agreed with me that the old mill had been trying to collapse for 30 years, and may well be still trying to collapse 30 years from now.

It seems that we get too stuck in the hubbub of Cary and Raleigh. It seems like forever since I got out into the country. My clients apologized that I had to run that far out to see them. Oh... My goodness! No apology necessary! I had a fine drive through the country.

I love looking at these photo tours.  Keeping my camera with me all the time makes it easy for me to do them too!  Just takes a few minutes

You've got a nice one here.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I appreciate it.

Thanks, Erby!

I drive past too many photo subjects in a hurry.  This is one evening I had to pull over and shoot a few shots.

Well, you got some GOOD shots.  I just drove past some tuff like that yesterday but didn't have time to stop.  Had the camera, but not the time.

Erby,

I always regret when I don't have time, or room, to pull over.
